The Information Systems study program prepares graduates to work in several sectors to integrate information technology solutions and business processes for the purpose of meeting the information needs of businesses and organizations. Effective IS integration enables and empowers organizations to achieve their objectives in an effective and efficient way. Our graduates will understand both technical and organizational factors, and they will be able to help organizations determine how information and technology-enabled business processes can provide a competitive advantage.

Our IS graduates are expected to contribute to the nation’s development in the Information Systems sector, particularly in the e-commerce, Big Data, Data Science, and Information Security sectors.

Vision

The Information Systems Study Program of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Sampoerna University aspires to become an Information Systems study program that is able to operate independently and sustainably, as well as produce graduates who have competence as a Bachelor of Information Systems and are able to compete in the world of work, have good leadership characters, entrepreneurial spirit and social awareness to create a better future for the Indonesian nation in 2025.

Mission

The Information Systems Study Program of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Sampoerna University strives to

  • Conduct higher education in the field of Information Systems to improve the Indonesian workforce’s competence.
  • Conduct research and publications to develop an Information Systems body of knowledge that can contribute at local, national, or international levels.
  • Carry out community service to implement and develop research results in the field of Information Systems.
  • Operate Information Systems study program with professionalism, good governance, credibility, transparency, accountability, responsibility, fairness, and academic independence.

Program Educational Objectives

  • Graduates will be professionals in Information Systems that have broad knowledge and skills in the business dan technological sides of organizations, who are able to liaise between both sides well, which will contribute significantly to the organization’s performance.
